The control of study activity for 2020 has been completed.

Here you can read about COVID-19 and study activity.

How should I relate to the requirements concerning study activity?

We assume that you are studying actively at home to the extent, which is possible. The SU payment will therefore continue unchanged.

Students in higher edcations

The semi-annual study control for students in higher ecducation will be conducted as usual from the end of September 2020. If you have started your education on July 1, 2016 or later, we will check whether you are more than 6 months delayed in your education (corresponding to 30 ECTS). If you are more than 6 months delayed, you will receive a letter from the Danish Agency for Institutions and Educational Grants regarding your study activity.

I have received a letter about my study activity. What should I do?

If you have begun your education on July 1 2016 or later, you are allowed to be delayed 6 months (corresponding 30 ECTS) during your education. We control your study activity by comparing the completed number of ECTS in your education with the number of used SU during your education. If you are more than 6 months delayed, you do not meet the conditions for study activity, and you will receive a letter from the Agency for Institutions and Educational Grants.

If you have received a letter from the Agency of Institutions and Educational Grants regarding your study activity, but believe the decision to be incorrect or faulty, you should follow the instructions in the letter and contact the study administration or the SU office at your place of education.

I have been delayed in my higher education due to illness and have received a letter regarding my study activity. I wish to apply for extra SU but I am not able to get a doctor’s appointment for a long time. What should I do?

I you have been delayed during your higher education due to illness, you can apply for extra SU clips. In order to obtain extra SU it is a condition that there has been an actual delay during your education and that this delay can be measured in time. You can read more about extra SU clips here (in danish).

You can apply for extra SU in minSU. You will get access to a receipt page, which you have to submit to your place of education along with medical documentation for your illness and your own statement on how the illness has delayed you.

If COVID-19 have made it impossible for you to get a doctor’s appointment or there is a long waitlist, we encourage you to send in your application to your educational institution anyway. Please note in your application that you are unable to get a doctor’s appointment for your general practitioner/hospital/psychiatrist, and to the extent possible, attach documentation for the appointment you got or the fact that you are unable to get an appointment.
